Billboard advertising prices across Iraq: Baghdad vs Basra vs Mosul
Billboard Hub · 2026-08-23
Billboard rates in Iraq are shaped by each city's traffic, commercial density and available inventory. Here is what advertisers should expect.
Baghdad — the premium market
The capital carries the country's highest traffic volumes and the strongest commercial demand. Boards on arterial roads, bridges and central squares command premium monthly rates, but they also deliver the largest verified audiences — often over a million monthly impressions for a single well-placed face.
Basra — strong value in the south
Basra's oil-driven economy keeps commercial corridors busy. Rates typically sit below Baghdad's for comparable sizes, which makes the city attractive for brands expanding south.
Mosul — the north's growing market
Mosul is Iraq's second-largest city and its roads and markets have been rebuilt quickly. A billboard there typically costs about USD 1,530 a month, below Baghdad's typical USD 2,050 and Basra's USD 1,730, while traffic keeps growing.
How to compare fairly
Never compare cities on price alone — compare cost per thousand impressions (CPM). A cheaper board with low traffic can cost more per viewer than a premium location.
On Billboard Hub every board shows verified traffic data, so you can compare CPM across cities before booking, entirely online.
